A 26-year-old Odessa woman was arrested Sunday morning after her common-law husband accused her of confronting him in the shower with a knife.
According to an Ector County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies received a disturbance call from the 11000 block of West Westmark Street around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, a 29-year-old man told them Cinthia Carranza Molina broke into their restroom through a locked door and pulled him out of the shower using his necklace and while holding a knife, the report stated.
The man said both of them fell and he grabbed the knife and threw it in the tub.
According to the report, deputies saw red marks on his neck and a kitchen knife in the tub.
Molina was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
She remained in the Ector County jail on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold and a $25,000 surety bond Tuesday night.
