The Permian Basin Out of the Darkness Walk has been scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Gardens Park, 4730 E. 42nd St.
Onsite registration will take place at 2 p.m. or preregister online.
There will also be resource booths, AFSP merchandise, Memory Wall, Honor Beads, walk t-shirts and more.
The event provides community, connection, healing, and hope for survivors of suicide loss and those with lived experience.
For those that can’t make the event, walkers and teams are invited to safely walk in their neighborhoods and parks.
Registration is free and open to the public.
Sponsorships are available. Donations are also welcomed.
