MIDLAND The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting Permian Basin residents to participate in this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s next month.
The event is scheduled to take place at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 16 at Cimarex Energy Pavilion (located at 5514 Champions Dr.) in Midland.
Registration will be held at 9 a.m. on the day of the event followed by the opening ceremony.
Jay Hendricks of CBS 7 is the returning celebrity media emcee for the event.
Participants will honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the Promise Garden ceremony right before the walk begins.
