UT Permian Basin will celebrate its 2023 homecoming with several exciting events on campus for students and the community.
This year, Texas Country music star Aaron Watson will play a free concert on campus. A schedule of homecoming events are listed below.
UTPB 2023 Homecoming events (all events are open to the community)
Oct. 27
- 7 p.m.: Homecoming parade, community asked to line the streets of campus to watch the parade
- 7:30 p.m.: Free Aaron Watson concert at the Kirk Field, community encouraged to bring lawn chairs and food
- 9 p.m.: Bonfire behind Kirk field and firework show
Oct. 28
- Freddyville (tailgate) opens at noon. There will be family activities and a DJ, encouraged to arrive at Ratliff by 3 p.m.
- Falcon walk and road show (players arrive) at 4 p.m., performances by marching band, cheer, and dance to follow
- Kickoff at Ratliff Stadium at 6 p.m. against Western Oregon
