The Texas Department of Transportation issued a traffic alert Wednesday for Winkler County on SH 18.
Construction crews will begin work on SH 18 in Kermit Thursday, Sept. 21, performing a complete pavement rehab project. Work will move northbound, then southbound, beginning on the outside lanes and then the inside lanes.
Watch for lane closures beginning at the intersection of SH 18 and SH 115. The project will continue for approximately three weeks.
