The Texas Department of Transportation has issued traffic alerts for Oct. 7 to 15.
>> MIDLAND COUNTY: Closures needed week nights on I-20 Monday-Wednesday (Oct. 10-19) on righthand lanes between SH 349 and Midkiff Rd. Starting eastbound then moving westbound, construction crews will be placing concrete barrier along the shoulder from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each week night. No work on Sat & Sun nights.
>> MIDLAND COUNTY: Left main lane of eastbound I-20 will be closed 8-11a.m. Saturday (10-8) between FM 1788 and the CR 1250 bridge detour. Repairs are being made to the detour barrier. Slow down and drive with caution in this work zone.
>> WINKLER COUNTY: The westbound right main lane of SH 302 over SH 115 remains closed for the week of Oct. 10. All other main lanes and service roads are open.
>> ECTOR COUNTY: Crew will be working on West University (FM 2020) Wednesday-Friday (Oct. 12-14) between Moss Road and FM 866. Lane closures could shift during the day, so please be aware of your surroundings. Please obey flaggers and warning signs. Please follow pilot car safely.
>> ANDREWS COUNTY: On Tuesday (10-13), crew we will be on FM 181 a few miles south of SH 115 for an overlay operation. Please obey flaggers and follow pilot car safely.
>> ANDREWS COUNTY: On Thursday (10-15), crew will be on SH 115 a few miles west of FM 1818 performing an overlay operation Please obey flaggers and follow pilot car safely.
