TxDOT issues traffic alerts for next week

The Texas Department of Transportation has issued traffic alerts for the following dates and locations.

Winkler County

  • Monday, Sept. 11: Debris patrol operations and herbicide operations on various State maintained roadways.
  • Sept. 12-14: Fog seal operations on SH 18 beginning about 2 miles south of Kermit and continuing for approximately 5 miles (mm 330-335). Herbicide Operations on various State maintained roadways.
  • Sept. 15: Edge repair operations on FM 874 beginning at the intersection of SH 302 and FM 874 and continuing for approximately 5 miles (mm 214-218). Sweeping Operations on various State maintained roadways.

Midland County

  • Sept. 11: IH 20 pavement repairs will be performed on the westbound right lane from the on ramp of LP 250 to off ramp FM 1788 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Sept. 12: IH 20 — Right lane and on ramp for LP 250 will be closed for ramp tie in from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Sept. 13: IH 20 pavement repairs will be conducted on the eastbound right lane from on ramp FM 1788 to the off ramp of LP 250 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Sept. 14: IH 20 — Eastbound right lane and off ramp at LP 250 will be closed from east of CR 1250 bridge to off ramp LP 250 for ramp tie in from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Reeves County

  • Sept. 11: Road repairs will be made on the westbound lane of IH 20 beginning at Reeves County line and continuing for approximately 13 miles (mm 2-15).

Ector County

  • Sept. 12-13: Multiple lanes on SH 191 heading westbound will be closed for road repairs at the intersection of Dixie Blvd. and 42nd St.

Crane County

  • Sept. 11-14: Roadway repairs will be conducted on FM 1223 beginning approximately 1/2 mile from the intersection of FM 1033 and FM 1223 and continuing for approximately 5 miles (mm 244-248). Work will start on the eastbound lane, then westbound lane.

Upton County

  • Sept. 11: Road repairs will be performed on US 67 beginning at the Upton County line and continue to just outside of McCamey (mm 764-792).

Martin County

  • Sept. 11: Fog seal operations on SH 176 between mile markers 282-284.
  • Sept. 12: fog seal operations on SH 137 beginning 1 mile south of Martin St. and continuing for approximately 2 miles (mm 298-300).
