The Texas Department of Transportation has issued a traffic alert that is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Thursday evening.
>> MIDLAND COUNTY: Only one eastbound I-20 main lane will be open after 7 p.m. Thursday (6/23). By 6 a.m. Friday (6/24) both eastbound main lanes will be detoured to the south service road. These two main lanes will be separated from the service road by a traffic barrier as part of a long-term detour. This detour will be in place for approximately 14 months while the new bridge at CR 1250 is built.
