The Texas Department of Transportation issued a traffic alert Thursday for IH 20 in Midland County.
The IH 20 construction detour at Midkiff Road will have a 15-minute rolling closure at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, affecting all main east and westbound lanes.
Truck-mounted safety cushions will approach the Midkiff Bridge construction site at a slow roll in both directions while utility crews remove an overhead line. The operation is expected to last 15 minutes.
