Two Odessa men were killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle wreck on Loop 338 at West 81st Street.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a preliminary investigation revealed David Medrano, 44, was traveling north on the loop in a Ford F-250 when he veered into the southbound lane for unknown reasons and struck a Chevrolet 2500 being driven by Maxton Steel Winkler, 33.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at 6:45 a.m.
It’s unknown if either man was wearing a seat belt.
