Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine will host the Annual Resident Graduation Ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday in the Academic Classroom Building, 801 W. Fourth St., in Odessa.
In all, 36 students will graduate from the Permian Basin residency program with six choosing to stay in the Midland and Odessa area and in rural communities nearby.
This is the first group of students to graduate in the new Academic Classroom Building on Odessa’s campus. Graduates from all over the world will be receiving their certificates of completion. Many will be continuing their education in fellowships across the United States. Others will be joining private practices, community clinics and hospitals across the country.
