‘Terrorized by Twins’: UTPB’s Fourth Annual Halloween Conference goes global

UTPB’s Fourth Annual Halloween Conference is embracing a worldwide flavor with presenters from Mumbai, India, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Amsterdam, other locations in India, and the U.S.

This year’s theme is: “Terrorized by Twins: Doppelgängers and the Specter of Doubles,” with papers by scholars and students from around the globe exploring the topic. The Saturday, Oct. 30 conference, will be broadcast live beginning 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from UTPB’s Heimmermann Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning located in the University’s Mesa Building, Room 2104.

This event will include global presenters virtually, and a live venue with boxed lunches provided at noon. The event is free of charge and open to the public.
