A 17-year-old Odessa resident was arrested Friday after being accused of raping a girl who just turned 7-years-old.
According to an Ector County Sheriff’s Office report, the girl told a forensic interviewer on Nov. 13 Kevin Mendoza touched her inappropriately, forced her to perform oral sex on him and sodomized her despite her pleas for him to stop.
Mendoza was arrested on suspicion of three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was released from the Ector County jail after surety bonds totaling $450,000 were posted.
