TARP to return this summer at Ellen Noel

The Ellen Noel Art Museum Teen Artist Residency Program (TARP) is making a return for Summer 2022, according to a press release from the museum.

The program will take place from June 6-10.

TARP is an intensive one-week summer art program that offers students (ages 13-17) a unique art experience in a museum setting, working alongside paper mache artist – Manuel Urueta. Selected students will spend the week with Mr. Urueta creating paper mache masks and creatures. Selected students will have an opportunity to work in a fun and interactive environment while exploring new techniques and developing their artistic creativity.

Students must apply and be accepted into this program. Applications can be found on the museum’s website noelartmuseum.org/programs and are due by May 23.

The museum education staff will choose applicants based on completed applications, teacher recommendations and personal interviews when needed. All program decisions are confidential and final. Applications received after the deadline of May 23 may not be considered.
