Ector County ISD’s Curriculum & Instruction Department has scheduled a STEM Summit Saturday, October 14, in conjunction with the solar eclipse.
This is a Math and Science summit open to prekindergarten through 12th grade teachers. It will be held at Odessa High School between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on October 14. One of the activities will be the launch of a solar eclipse balloon.
Lunch and snacks will be provided and there will be prize giveaways. A flier on the ECISD website has a link for teachers to register and a link to the professional development offerings they can attend.
