A smoke detector sensor went off at Austin Montessori Magnet, 901 N. Lee Ave., a little after 3 p.m. Monday.
To be safe, the school pulled the fire alarm and evacuated the building, a Twitter post from Ector County Independent School District stated.
Odessa Fire & Rescue responded, but found no fire or other concern. The post said officials are trying to figure out why the sensor sounded.
