Roommate arguments leads to arrest

An argument between three roommates Saturday afternoon led to the arrest of one of them on three felony charges.

According to an Odessa Police Department report, officers received a disturbance call from the 9200 block of Holiday drive around 3 p.m. Saturday.

When they arrived, two residents told the officers they wanted Cody Parks Frazier to leave the apartment the three of them shared and during the ensuing argument, Frazier got punched in the face in self-defense.

The roommates said Frazier then pulled a gun on them, the report stated. When one of the roommates grabbed a baseball bat, they said Frazier threw the gun at them and one of them locked it up in a boat on the driveway.

The roommates said Frazier took the bat away from the one wielding it and used it to strike the other one, the report stated.

Officers took possession of the 9 mm handgun and Frazier, who was inside the residence, the report stated.

Frazier was arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. He remained in the Ector County jail Monday night on surety bonds totaling $65,000.
