Read to Felix

First grader Jase Lomas, 7, reads a book to a wire haired dachshunds named Felix from Alliance of Therapy Dogs Thursday afternoon, Jan. 20, 2022, at the Ector County Library. Felix helps children gain confidence while reading out loud by providing non-judgmental support.

The Ector County Library, 321 W. Fifth St., has scheduled Read to Felix for children of all ages from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays at the third floor auditorium in the children’s department.

Felix is a therapy dog that loves to be read to.
