MONDAY COFFEE FOR WOMEN

Tenacious Woman Ministries has scheduled Coffee Chats for Women from 9 a.m. to noon Mondays through May 29.

There will be a perfect chance to connect with other women and build meaningful relationships over a cup of coffee.

MCH JOB FAIR

Medical Center Health System will be hosting a pop-up job fair from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. today in the Nursing

Education Classroom located at 520. N. Washington St. (north side of building).

In-person interviews will be conducted by MCHS staff with the potential of hiring on-site.

Applicants should bring their resumes. There are openings for several positions, including: RNs, LVNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, Patient Care Assistants, Surgical Techs, Anesthesia Techs, Phlebotomists and Radiology Techs.

In addition to on-site interviews for applicants, there will be food and beverages, giveaways, and several prizes, including TVs, Air Pods, tablets, and gift cards.

The pop-up job fair is free and open to the public.


RELIC PILGRIMAGE

A relic of Blessed Michael McGivney, the founder of the Knights of Columbus, will be available for veneration at two parishes in the Diocese of San Angelo, today and Tuesday.

  •  Today: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., veneration; and 6:30 p.m., mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 20 E. Beauregard Ave., San Angelo.
  •  Tuesday: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., veneration; and 6 p.m., mass at Holy Redeemer Parish, 2633 Conover Ave. Followed by Knights of Columbus Exemplification of Charity, Unity & Fraternity.

Meals on Wheels has scheduled the 23rd annual Mudbug from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. April 11 at the Ector County Coliseum, 4201 Andrews Highway.

There will be all-you-can-eat fried catfish, peel and eat shrimp, hush puppies, and crawfish.

Tickets start at $50 per person.
