BLACK & WHITE BALL

Odessa Arts has scheduled a Black & White Ball at 6:30 p.m. April 1 at the Odessa Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, Permian Ballroom, 305 E. Fifth St. Celebrate the Friends of the Arts.

Friends of the Arts honorees are: Peggy Dean, Marita Hendrick and Dick Gillham (legacy award).

STUDENT SHOW

The Student Junior/Senior Juried Exhibition is scheduled for March 30-April 19 at the Nancy Fyfe Cardozier Gallery, 4901 E. University Blvd.

The opening reception is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 30. The juror will be Nabil Gonzalez, assistant professor of instruction, foundations/drawing, printmaking at University of Texas El Paso.


CAR SHOW

Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, 1615 E. Murphy St., has scheduled a Car Show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 22. There will be awards in various categories and food. For more information, visit tinyurl.com/98yw8kwc.


AVIATION FUN DAY

2023 High Sky Wing, 9600 Wright Drive, Midland, has scheduled an Aviation Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 1. Visitors are welcome to the Midland Army Air Field Museum to experience the sites and sounds of World War II. FREE TAX ASSISTANCE

The Ector County Northside Senior Center, 1225 Adams Ave., has scheduled free tax assistance for seniors from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, through April 11.

UNITED WAY FUNDING PROPOSALS

United Way of Odessa, 128 E. Second St., are currently accepting funding proposals for 2023-2024 Community Impact Funding through March 31. Funding is open to non-profit 501(c)3’s serving in the United Way of Odessa service area who provide services in the areas of Health, Education, and Self-Sufficiency.
