The Ector County Library Children’s Department, 321 W. Fifth St., will present the Cassatt String Quartet from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. today.

Chris Van Dusen’s book Circus Ship will be read aloud, and the quartet will use their music to enhance the story.

Harmony Home Children’s Advocacy Center has scheduled a Bingo & Bubbly Ladies Luncheon at 11 a.m. March 3 at the Odessa Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, 305 E. Fifth St.

The City of Odessa has scheduled a Shamrock 5K Run on March 11 at Comanche Trail Park, 900 S. County Road W.

Registration will start at 9 a.m. and the race will start at 10 a.m.
