First Basin Credit Union, 7100 E. Highway 191, has scheduled a public art dedication, “Hadley Cell,” at 6 p.m. today.
The Hadley Cell sculpture designed and crafted by North Carolina artist Jim Hirschfield, consists of a 35′ vertical-column containing five graceful polyhedrons, or cells, extending 8′ at their widest point. The symbol of five stacked cells emulates a column of wind known as The Hadley Cell named after George Hadley.
