Police searching for woman connected to grocery store theft

The Odessa Police Department is reportedly looking for a woman involved in a theft at a grocery store.

The reported theft happened at 8:09 p.m. May 4 at the United Supermarket located at 1350 E. Eighth St., an OPD press release stated.

Investigation showed that a woman reportedly concealed $112 worth of merchandise inside of her purse and exited the store without making any attempt to pay. The woman left the scene in a gray Nissan Altima.
