Pink the Basin has awarded $150,000 to Medical Center Hospital this year to assist women and men who do not have insurance, are underinsured, or have a high copay/deductible that need a mammogram, diagnostic mammogram or biopsy. It can either be for routine, or to follow up an abnormal screening or incidental finding.
MCH has a screening process that is very simple to qualify to be able to use these funds.
A check presentation will take place at 10 a.m. March 25 in the Admitting Lobby at MCH.
