MIDLAND In conjunction with the development of the 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan the Permian Basin MPO is asking for the public’s input to identify transportation projects in the Midland-Odessa area. The MPO is the designated leader coordinating transportation planning in Ector, Midland, and Martin counties and the cities of Odessa and Midland.
The Long-Range Transportation Plan includes potential transportation projects across numerous funding categories and project selection scoring criteria. The document will cover a 25-year planning period from 2025-2050.
Public hearings and meetings to discuss the updated list of projects will be scheduled in November and December 2023.
