Permian Basin Area Foundation announces nearly $2.0 million in grants

Permian Basin Area Foundation has awarded $1,917,000 to nonprofit organizations serving West Texans during its fall grant cycle.

The Foundation resumed its regular competitive spring and fall grant cycles this year, after delaying last year’s spring cycle and focused on emergency funding due to the immediate needs presented by the pandemic, a news release detailed.

Out of an abundance of caution, there was no press conference to announce the grants.

“I continue to be so proud of our nonprofit organizations who continue to step up and serve our community. Their leadership and impact is immeasurable,” stated Grants Administrator Meagan Harris.

Grants were made to the following organizations:

>> Big Spring Symphony Association.

>> Blackwell School Alliance.

>> Bush Tennis Center.

>> CASA of West Texas.

>> Christmas in Action Midland, Inc.

>> Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend.

>> Family Promise of Midland.

>> Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

>> Holy Cross Anglican Church.
