UPDATE: Oncor West Region Manager Gus Ortega said around 11:05 a.m. that power restored to Downtown Odessa.
ORIGINAL: Oncor West Region Manager Gus Ortega told the Odessa American over the phone on Thursday morning that a downed wire is causing a power outage in parts of Downtown Odessa.
There are 654 customers being affected by the downtown power outage.
Ortega said he doesn’t have a time frame of when the power will be back on, but he said his crews are working to get it done as quickly as possible. Ortega also said he doesn’t know what caused the downed wire.
