The Parks Legado Farmers Market is back from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, August 12.

Fresh produce, homebaked goods and other delights will be for sale.

The newest addition to the Sewell Family of Companies’ monthly farmers markets at Parks Legado, The Lil’ Sprouts Market, launched in July. This market cultivates a spirit of entrepreneurship and instills a strong sense of social responsibility among young participants.

The Lil’ Sprouts Market provides a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their products, fostering creativity, business acumen, and community engagement. What sets this market apart is its unique approach to giving back. All vendor fees will be donated to a child-focused charity chosen by the young vendors themselves, reinforcing the importance of philanthropy and empowering them to make a difference.

Other scheduled dates this year include Sept. 9 and Oct. 14. Text PLFM 432-498-0251 for more information.
