One man was taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon after his vehicle collided into a house.

Officers were called about a major crash around 3:03 p.m. Wednesday near 42nd Street and Winchester Avenue, an Odessa Police Department news release stated.

The release detailed that 50-year-old Robert Elliot was driving east on 42nd Street in a Ford F-250, which crossed over westbound lanes of traffic and collided with a utility pole before colliding into a house at the corner of 42nd Street and Winchester Avenue.

Elliott was taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and no other injuries were reported, the release stated.

The crash is still under investigation.
