An Odessa woman was arrested on an intoxication assault charge recently following a crash at State Highway 385 and East Antigua Drive.
According to a Texas Department of Public Safety report released Thursday, Jillian Mekaylee Milam, 19, was involved in a crash that caused injuries to the occupants of another crash shortly before midnight March 1 and she admitted to having been drinking.
Troopers noticed she had red, blood-shot eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol, the report stated.
Milam failed field sobriety tests and was booked into the Ector County jail.
She was released the following day after posting a $7,500 surety bond.
