A 49-year-old Odessa man was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 158 and South County Road 1140.
According to a Texas Department of Public Safety report, a preliminary investigation revealed Robin Lynn Vance Greer was traveling north on SCR-1140 in a Ford Escape when he disregarded a stop sign at SH-158 and struck the front of a tractor-trailer being driven east on SH-158 by a 68-year-old man from Bangs.
Greer was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened around 7:15 p.m.
