A 40-year-old Odessa woman was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 385.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a preliminary investigation revealed Dulce Salinas, 40, was traveling north on U.S. 385 in a Kia Soul when she was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Silverado being driven by an 18-year-old Odessa man shortly after 1 p.m. at Calcutta Street.
Salinas was pronounced dead at the scene and the teenager was taken to Medical Center Hospital in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
