Odessa man killed, three injured in crash

A 63-year-old Odessa man was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle wreck at Loop 338 and FM 3503.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 58-year-old Odessa woman was eastbound on Loop 338 when she failed to yield the right of way while turning left onto FM 3503 around 9:45 a.m. Her Chevrolet Cruze was struck by a Ford F-150.

Marty Emerson Wampler, a seat belted passenger in the Chevy, was taken to Medical Center Hospital where he was pronounced dead by medical staff.

The driver of the Chevy was taken to the hospital in serious condition and a second passenger, a 19-year-old man from Odessa was taken in stable condition.

The driver of the Ford, a 22-year-old man from Odessa, was taken to MCH, treated and released.
