On Aug. 18, 2023, the Texas Medical Board and Michael Vise Shelton, M.D., entered into an agreed order requiring him to within one year complete at least 12 hours of CME, divided as follows: four hours in ethics, four hours in risk management and four hours in medical recordkeeping.
The Board found Shelton failed to meet the standard of care and keep adequate medical records in the treatment of one patient.
