NAP inducts Kit Bredimus

The National Academies of Practice (NAP) is pleased to announce the election of Brandon “Kit” Bredimus, DNP, RN, CPEN, CNML, NE-BC, CENP, NEA-BC, FACHE, FAONL, FNAP as a Distinguished Fellow in the Nursing Academy. Class of 2023 Fellows were welcomed into the National Academies of Practice during the awards and induction ceremony in Washington D.C. on April 1.

Bredimus is Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer at Midland Memorial Hospital. Bredimus is a native Midlander and has been with MMH since 2008 where he started as a nurse in the Emergency Department. Dr. Bredimus received his doctorate in executive nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Founded in 1981, the National Academies of Practice advances interprofessional education, scholarship, research, practice and public policy. We educate and inform our members and others, facilitate collaborative scholarship and research opportunities, recruit, engage, retain and mentor our network of members, and advocate the value of interprofessional practice and improve healthcare and policy for all.
