Midland Health is hosting a Find a Job Friday.
The event is held in the lobby between the hospital’s police department and the Human Resources department, 400 Rosalind Redfern Grover Parkway, and will be offered the first Friday of every month. This month it’s from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today (Nov. 4).
The purpose of Find a Job Friday is to engage in conversation with external candidates about current career opportunities. The recruitment team will be speaking to all candidates that may be interested in a position with Midland Health and will conduct a pre-screening with the candidate(s).
When the candidate arrives, they will be asked to sign in and have a cup of coffee or a cookie while they wait. A recruiter will get with them, go over their resume and have a pre-screening conversation. If qualified, the recruiter will reach out to the hiring managers in the respective departments they discussed to conduct on-the-spot interviews. This may lead to a job offer, a news release said.
