From now through October 1, customers of Miss Cayce’s Wonderland, located at 1012 Andrews Highway in Midland, can purchase 2’ to 16’ Christmas trees at 25 percent off, and donate to Opportunity Tribe, a non profit organization that helps at risk children through literacy camps, summer camps, school reading groups and year round mentoring groups. All programs are provided free to the students.
The donated monies will be used to send disadvantaged youth to Opportunity Tribe’s summer camp. The cost is $400 per student for the week long Opportunity Camp. Miss Cayce’s will also donate a 10’ fully decorated Christmas tree to Opportunity Tribe for their new headquarters at 3310 West Wadley Avenue in Midland for the children they serve, mentors and staff to enjoy during the holiday season this year and for years to come.
