A Midland woman has died, two days after she was struck by a side-view mirror while walking on FM 307.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Gina Marie Daugherty, 48, was walking east in the middle of the road shortly before 10 p.m. Monday when the side-view mirror of a passing Dodge Ram 2500 struck her. She was taken from the scene, eight miles east of Midland, to Midland Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
She died as a result of her injuries Wednesday.
