MIDLAND Midland Shooters Association will be hosting the West Texas Buckle Championship, a 3-day event from May 5 to May 7. The venue for the event is MSA Shotgun Range, 7400 W CR170, in Midland.
Shooters will be served lunch daily during the event, and belt buckles will be given to the winners of each category.
Event highlights are:
- 3-day event held on May 5, 6, and 7 from 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- $10,200 added money.
- $3,000 HAA (Total score of Main + Prelim + 5-stand)
- $1,200 to each HAA per class with 4 or more shooters in class.
- Additional lunches for non-shooters will be available for $15.
- Golf carts available for $25 per day.

MSA is a private club, and their facilities are available for use only by MSA members and their guests. New members must attend a one-time orientation class prior to using the Rifle & Pistol Range. These classes are held at the R&P clubhouse and are usually offered every weekend. New members may use the Shotgun Range immediately. On your first visit check in at the club house and the friendly folks will be happy to help you get started.
