A 58-year-old Midland motorcyclist was killed Monday morning nine miles west of Stanton.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Cary Don Griggs was traveling north on FM 1208 on his Harley Davidson when he lost control and hit a curb around 5:30 a.m.
Griggs, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Griggs’ passenger, a 25-year-old woman from Midland was taken to an Odessa hospital in stable condition.
