Midland International welcomes Delta with 3 daily flights to Austin

MIDLAND The City of Midland on Friday announced a significant milestone in its commitment to fostering greater connectivity and convenience for its residents and visitors.

Midland International Air & Space Port welcomes Delta Air Lines to its roster of esteemed carriers, initiating new services daily to and from Midland beginning April 22. Delta Air Lines will be selling tickets for the new three flight offerings between Austin and Midland beginning Dec. 16.

“By adding more flights for the Midland community, these additional offerings enhance our region’s business and leisure travel. Further demonstrating our commitment to growing our economy. This is a testament to our commitment to the overall strategic plan the city has adopted,” Midland Mayor Lori Blong said in a news release.

With this expansion, Midlanders and visitors can expect seamless connections, exceptional service, and a range of travel options to reach their desired destinations across the globe.

The addition of Delta Air Lines to Midland International Air & Space Port reinforces its dedication to providing world-class travel experiences while stimulating economic growth and bolstering the region’s appeal for business and leisure travelers, the release said.

Delta Air Lines’ inaugural flights connecting Austin and Midland are scheduled to commence on April 22. The three flights will include a morning, afternoon, and evening departure daily. Passengers can anticipate superior service, convenience, and access to Delta’s extensive global network.
