Midland College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society invites everyone to an event and complimentary lunch that focuses on college and career success for Latinas from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 9 in the Carrasco Room of the Scharbauer Student Center, 3600 N. Garfield St. in Midland.
Join Latina students and successful Latina professionals as they share their journeys of success and perseverance. Participants will learn about the resources offered at MC to help them and their families overcome common obstacles faced by Latinas, a news release said.
