Ector County and the City of Odessa have formed a Joint Airport Zoning Board for the purpose of addressing matters in relation to Schleyemeyer Field, an Ector County press release detailed.
The JAZB will convene for their first meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Ector County Commissioners’ Courtroom.
The JAZB appointed members are Ector County Commissioner for Precinct 3 Don Stringer, who will chair the board, Bill Ritter and Mark Merritt of the Ector County Advisory Board, City of Odessa City Councilman of District 4 Greg Connell and Hal Feldman, Traffic Operations Superintendent for the City of Odessa.
