The Ector County Sheriff’s Office has scheduled a Hamburger Cookout Benefit Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Ector County Coliseum Barn A.
Plates are $10. Proceeds/donations will be distributed amongst the three deputies, Josh Pool, Special Investigative Unit; Cody Smith, CID Investigator; and Ricky Rodriguez, Reserve Officer; who were recently shot while serving a warrant.

In addition, The Permian Basin Assist the Officer Foundation will be conducting a benefit raffle for a chance to win 1 Sig Sauer P365 9mm Pistol, courtesy of Tejas Shooting Sports.
The drawing will take place at 3 p.m. at the coliseum. Need to be present to win.
Tickets are $10 each or 6 for $50. Proceeds will also go the three wounded deputies.
