MIDLAND Broadway in the Basin returns with its third show for the 2023 season with “Hairspray.”
The show takes place at 7:30 p.m. March 6 at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center.
Broadways’ Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon is back on tour as audiences join 16-year-old Tracy Turnblad in 1960s Baltimore as she sets out to dance her way onto television’s most popular show.
The musical features the beloved score of hit songs including “Welcome to the 60s,” “Good Morning Baltimore” and of course, “You Can’t Stop the Beat.”

The 2023 Broadway in the Basin season will continue with “Anastasia” on April 2 and “Cats” on May 4.
