As a former ECISD student and native of Odessa, I support Proposition A. It supports the growth and development of technical and career-oriented programs like the welding technology program that I attended during my high school career at Permian and the Technical Education Center.
The foundations of support and growth that programs and new facilities like Proposition A will provide students are a huge part of my success today. The funding needed to grow and enhance these programs is vital for enhancing the lives and career opportunities of students in Ector County.
Please vote yes for Proposition A.
Richard Vogel is a Permian High School and Technical Education Center graduate and is a gas turbine engineer for Chevron Pipeline and Power Company. He has a Bachelor of Marine Engineering Technology from Texas A&M and an MBA from the University of Houston Bauer College of Business.
