Texas State Sen. Kel Seliger announced today he was endorsed by MPACT, the political arm of the Texas Association of Manufacturers.

Seliger represents Texas Senate District 31, the area covering 37 counties across the Panhandle, South Plains and Permian Basin, including the cities of Amarillo, Midland, Odessa and Big Spring.

Texas Association of Manufacturers represents more than 500 manufacturers in Texas.

“Senator Seliger understands the role the legislature plays in growing quality jobs and what it takes for our state to remain a global competitor. He appreciates the impact of a healthy economy for all Texans and values the opportunities a strong business climate provides for families across SD 31,” said Tony Bennett, president of the Texas Association of Manufacturers, in a news release.

Seliger has also been endorsed by the NRA, the Texas State Rifle Association, LifePAC, Texas Alliance for Life, and has earned a 100 percent Pro-Life Rating from Texas Right to Life. He was named “Fighter for Free Enterprise” four times by the Texas Association of Business and also received the Texas Conservative Coalition’s Conservative Champion Award, Texas Wildlife Association’s Conservative Hero Award, and the Conservative Roundtable of Texas’ Effective Conservative Lawmaker Award.
