First Tee West Texas hosts George W. Bush for upcoming fundraiser

MIDLAND First Tee West Texas will be hosting their upcoming fundraiser, Fairways Fore The Future, Oct. 17 featuring special guest of honor George W. Bush, Ben Crenshaw, and The Gatlin Brothers Band. Please see the schedule of events below:

  • 4 p.m. — The fundraiser will begin promptly with an exclusive group of large donors at First Tee National Golf Academy located at 500 W. Loop 250 North in Midland.
  • 4 – 4:15 p.m. — Former President George W. Bush will give a dedication at First Tee.
  • 4 – 5 p.m. — Cocktail Hour for all other fundraiser attendees at Midland Chaparral Center.
  • 5 p.m. — Doors lock.
  • 5:15 – 5:45 p.m. — Program begins with a presentation by George W. Bush, Ben Crenshaw, and The Gatlin Brothers.
  • 5:45 – 9 p.m. — Dinner, Concert by The Gatlin Brothers Band, and Live Auction.

First Tee began in 1997 as a partnership among the LPGA, the Masters Tournament, the PGA of America, the PGA TOUR, and the USGA to make golf affordable and accessible for all kids.
