Ellen Noël to host Book Talk

The Ellen Noël Art Museum of the Permian Basin is hosting Book Talk at 6 p.m. Nov. 17 in the Presidential Archives at UT Permian Basin, 4919 E. University Blvd. The public is invited to participate in a discussion of the book, “Alena” written by Rachel Pastan.

The event is free and geared towards 18+; refreshments will be provided.

Alena is inspired by the Classic Daphne du Maurier’s “Rebecca,” an aspiring museum curator takes a job at a New England art museum and finds herself haunted by the staff’s devotion to her predecessor, who has died under mysterious circumstances.

ENAM encourages guests to join throughout the year and participate in discussions of topical or art related books, current museum exhibitions or community events. For any questions regarding Book Talk, contact Annie Stanley, educator, at 550-9696 X 213 or [email protected]. To view all future events, visit noelartmuseum.org or drop by the Presidential Archives at UT Permian Basin on 4919 E. University Blvd to view current exhibitions.
