Ellen Noël Art Museum celebrates Día de los Muertos

The Ellen Noël Art Museum of the Permian Basin is celebrating Día de los Muertos from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the Presidential Archives at UT Permian Basin.

The public is invited to celebrate and learn more about the customs and traditions of this special holiday while enjoying hands-on art activities, a special dance performance by Viva Mexico Ballet Folkloric Dancers, and a musical performance by Mariachi Armonia. Everyone is encouraged to dress up.

The museum will be open and guests will have an opportunity to view the exhibitions, enjoy art activities and view special performances as well as visit with our friends from ECISD’s Early Childhood program.

Día de los Muertos itinerary

>> 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: free hands-on art activities and pop up Día de los Muertos exhibit by Cricket Middle School Art Students.

>> 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.: dance performance by Viva Mexico Ballet Folkloric Dancers.

>> 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: musical performance by Mariachi Armonia.
